Shipping Policy

At Josephine & Co., every order begins with something meaningful. Because your garments and textiles may be sentimental, irreplaceable, or one of a kind, we ask that all shipping steps be handled with care.

Shipping Your Materials to Josephine & Co.

After your design deposit is placed, you will receive instructions for mailing your garments, fabrics, textiles, or other approved materials to Josephine & Co.

Customers are responsible for the cost of shipping materials to Josephine & Co. We strongly recommend using:

  • shipment tracking,
  • secure packaging,
  • shipping insurance,
  • and signature confirmation.

Josephine & Co. is not responsible for materials that are lost, delayed, stolen, misdelivered, or damaged while in transit to us.

Because sentimental materials may not be replaceable, please do not mail items without tracking. We also recommend keeping your tracking number until your materials have been confirmed as received.

Packaging Your Materials

Please package your materials securely before shipping. Materials should be clean, dry, and protected from moisture during transit.

Josephine & Co. reserves the right to refuse or return materials that arrive wet, mold-contaminated, insect-infested, heavily soiled, hazardous, or otherwise unsuitable for safe handling or production. Additional return shipping or disposal fees may apply.

Completed Order Shipping

Once your heirloom piece is complete and any remaining balance has been paid, Josephine & Co. will carefully package and ship your completed order to the address provided at checkout or final invoice.

Shipping timelines may vary based on order size, project complexity, carrier timing, and the customer’s completion of required design approvals or payments.

Tracking information will be provided once your completed order has shipped.

Shipping Risk & Carrier Responsibility

Risk of loss transfers back to the customer once the completed order is delivered to the shipping carrier.

Josephine & Co. is not responsible for carrier-related delays, loss, theft, misdelivery, or damage occurring during transit.

If a completed order is lost or damaged in transit, Josephine & Co. will assist where reasonably possible by providing available shipment information, but the customer may be responsible for filing a claim directly with the carrier.

Shipping insurance, when purchased or included, is limited to the carrier’s declared value and does not cover sentimental, emotional, personal, or heirloom value.

Incorrect or Undeliverable Addresses

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.

Josephine & Co. is not responsible for packages delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer. If a package is returned due to an incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable address, the customer will be responsible for any additional shipping fees required to resend the package.

Shipping Delays

Josephine & Co. is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather, holidays, incorrect addresses, carrier disruptions, or other circumstances outside of our control.

Return Shipping of Unused Materials

Unused materials and remnants may be discarded or recycled after completion of the order unless the customer requests return of unused materials before production begins.

If return of unused materials is requested, additional handling and shipping fees may apply. Josephine & Co. is not responsible for preserving or returning every scrap, small remnant, or unusable portion created during the production process.
